The UD104 is the surface-mounted counterpart to our recessed downlight range — same plastic-coated aluminum housing, anti-glare PC diffuser and PC reflector cup, SMD chip with a DOB (Driver-On-Board) integrated driver, but installed directly onto the ceiling surface with no cutting or recess required. Ideal for concrete slabs, retrofit projects and ceilings where cutting a hole isn’t practical. Factory-tested to IECEE CB and CE standards, offered in 5W–30W, with OEM/ODM support for importers and lighting distributors.

UD104 solves a common site problem: ceilings that can’t be cut — concrete slabs, retrofit jobs, or fire-rated ceilings — while keeping the same housing durability, glare control and driver reliability as our recessed range.

Plastic-Coated Aluminum Body

Aluminum core for heat dissipation, coated in plastic for insulation and corrosion resistance. Lighter to ship, more stable in humid or coastal climates than bare metal fixtures.

Anti-Glare PC Diffuser & Reflector

The PC cover and reflector cup work together to control glare angle, giving even, comfortable light distribution — a common spec requirement for office and retail projects.

SMD Chip + DOB Driver

Driver circuitry is built directly onto the light engine (Driver-On-Board), removing the external driver box. Fewer connection points, fewer field failures, slimmer fixture profile.

IECEE CB & CE Certified

Independently tested under the IECEE CB Scheme and certified to CE electrical safety and EMC requirements — documentation available for import compliance and customs clearance.

High-transmittance PC lens with a micro-textured surface that spreads light evenly while suppressing direct glare. Also acts as a dust and moisture barrier for the light engine.

SMD Chip / DOB Module

SMD light source integrated with the DOB driver on a single board — higher luminous efficacy, thinner fixture body, fewer solder joints than a separate-driver design.

PC + ALU Housing

Plastic shell over an aluminum thermal base for a balance of heat dissipation and electrical insulation. The base plate mounts flush to the ceiling with screws — no recess or cutting required.

SMD Light Source

SMD chips give a more even light-emitting surface than discrete LEDs, with lower lumen depreciation and more consistent CCT across a production batch — useful when matching fixtures across a large project.

DOB Integrated Driver

Driver-On-Board mounts the driver circuit directly to the light source PCB, eliminating the external driver enclosure. On a surface-mounted fixture this keeps the base plate slim and installation quick — just wire and screw to the ceiling.

What’s the difference between UD104 and a recessed downlight?

UD104 mounts flush to the ceiling surface with screws — no hole cutting or recess depth required. It suits concrete ceilings, retrofit jobs, and situations where cutting into the ceiling isn’t allowed or practical.

Is UD104 dimmable?

The standard version is non-dimmable. A dimmable driver can be arranged as a custom option — let us know your dimming protocol (TRIAC, 0-10V, DALI) when requesting a quote.

What’s the difference between a DOB driver and a separate external driver?

DOB (Driver-On-Board) mounts the driver directly on the light source PCB, so there’s no separate driver box or long connecting wire. That means a slimmer fixture, fewer parts to fail, and faster installation on site.

What certifications does UD104 carry, and can it be exported?
