COB (Chip-on-Board) packs many LED dies onto a single substrate to form one continuous light-emitting surface. Compared with multi-SMD arrays, COB gives UD58 a single soft light spot, fewer shadow rings inside the reflector, and easier heat spreading across the aluminum radiator — which is how it holds a stable 90LM/W at 80W.
UD58 has a Φ200mm ceiling cut-out. The fixture body is 8 inch / Φ230mm in outer diameter and 120mm in height, matching standard 200mm recessed downlight openings used in hotel corridors, retail ceilings and office grids.
The standard UD58 is a non-dimmable, wall-switch on/off fixture rated IP20 for indoor concealed installation. If your project needs a dimmable or emergency-driver version, contact us — we support OEM/ODM driver changes on request.
UD58 ships in 3000K warm white, 4500K neutral white, or 6500K cool white, all rated ≥80Ra, so the same fixture body works for warm hospitality lighting or cooler task lighting in offices and retail.
